Jennifer works from her home in a small village in the Durham Dales, specialising in raised slip outline decoration known as tubelining. She is inspired by garden flowers, wild flowers and nature. Each piece of jewellery is made by hand from the finest earthenware clay, slip-trailed and then hand painted with underglaze paints and pastels. The pieces are fired in a kiln at 1030 Degrees C. The design is integral to the piece so it will not wear away or lose colour.
Each item of jewellery is signed on the back by Jennifer and presented on a gift card with a matching border with information about each design. Pendants have sterling silver findings with chord; earrings have sterling silver fittings; brooches are fitted with a simple clasp.
