Elaine lives in a small village in the heart of Ayrshire on the West Coast of Scotland. She works mainly with acrylics on canvas and draws inspiration from the Scottish countryside.
There is a wonderful sense of light and colour in Elaine's work and Elaine's paintings evoke memories of long summer walks along wooded pathways. Elaine takes the viewer through shaded areas of woodland and into illuminated open spaces, which can be common and familiar to the surroundings in which we live.
