Nick Boulter

Nick graduated from Birmingham with a first class honours degree in Fine Art Painting. Since 1988, he has worked predominantly in the decorative arts as a mural artist and designer, working on a wide variety of commercial and domestic projects.

Nick's renewed interest in making his own work derives from his love for the rural landscape which has, to a greater extent, informed his painting practice. In this sense, his primary concern is to achieve an interlocking of image and paint, portrayed through a blend of colour and movement and the changing efects of light on form.
